Stretching & Mobility

UNDERSTAND YOUR BODY & MOVE WITH MORE FREEDOM

Whether you’re feeling stiff after sitting at a desk all day, noticing restrictions when you exercise or simply want to move more comfortably, Stretching & Mobility sessions are tailored around how your body feels and moves.

MORE THAN JUST FLEXIBILITY

I use a combination of techniques including static stretching, assisted stretching and PNF to work on mobility, flexibility and range of movement.

These sessions can be particularly useful if you:

  • Spend long periods sitting or working at a desk

  • Run or exercise regularly

  • Experience stiffness or restricted movement

  • Want to improve flexibility or mobility

  • Experience lower-back tension

  • Want a relaxing session focused on your overall wellbeing

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll start by looking at your mobility and discussing any limitations, discomfort or areas you’d like to improve.

PERSONAL
PLAN

Built around your goals and ability.

From there, I’ll tailor the session around what your body needs and explain what we’re doing along the way.

You may also leave with simple exercises or movements to continue at home.

If I feel that your body would benefit from strengthening or more targeted movement work rather than stretching alone, I may recommend Corrective Exercise as a more appropriate next step.

GUIDANCE & UNDERSTANDING

Know what you're doing and why.

Built around your goals and ability.

ONGOING SUPPORT

Exercises, check-ins and guidance where helpful.

PRICE

At the gym session: £40 for 45 minutes

From your home session: £50 for 45 minutes

SOMETIMES, STRETCHING ISN'T THE WHOLE ANSWER

One of the reasons I take the time to understand how your body is moving is because the thing you think you need isn't always the thing that will help you most.

Sometimes stretching is exactly what your body needs.

Other times, the restriction you're experiencing may benefit from strengthening certain muscles, improving movement patterns or working more specifically on posture and stability.

If I think that's the case, I'll explain why and may recommend Corrective Exercise as a more suitable next step.
